Hi,
I have recently started using the name based virtual domain hosting instead
of the Individual IP based hosting on my Cobalt Raq4.
With all the accounts that I am using the virtual hosting, using the
namesevers IP, there is a problem accessing the sites from the web. When
you call up these sites with the "www" in front of them, it works fine. If
you call up the site without the "www", and just domainname.com, it goes to
my nameserver web page instead.
I don't have this problem with individual IP based hosting and I have the
DNS set up with two (A) name records, one with the www and one without the www.
An example of this is evident at:
www.youropinioncounts.net ---proper routing
youropinioncounts.net -- improper routing
If anyone has any ideas on this, I'd appreciate it.
