OK, what is going on here! 
Does everyone at Cobalt think that everytime you change something 
You have to reboot! This isn't windoze!!!
Hell, I value my uptime! (those stupid pkgs are bad enough)
Why not just restart postgre???
/etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql restart (or maybe hard-restart)
