Yes it can be done you find lots of stuff hidden in .cobalt folders if you
do a search from a command line

unless you are 100% on the GUI and have spare hardware your best bet is to
write another GUI incorperating the new features that you want like
additional domain/service ordering DNS controls support ticket issuing, etc

and leave the Cobalt GUI intact.
