do all your customers use [EMAIL PROTECTED]????
Based on the way you set up the domain, you can set up a catchall account 
for any misdirected email and let the responsible person handle the email 
addressed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] instead of [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Under the site settings, what do you have listed for email server alias? 
Not the control panel.
