I wouldn't think you would have a problem as long as the proper version of the VM (java.exe) is launched for both JRun and Tomcat . Just make sure the PATH environment variable in the Tomcat shell points to the directory where 1.3.1 java.exe resides. I don't know how Cold Fusion 5 resolves the VM location but I would think java.exe would be bundled in with the package and automatically referenced. Finally, JRun 3.1 is compatible with jdk1.3.1 so if that is the version you are running in Cold Fusion 5 you obviously wouldn't have a problem regardless as to which VM your pointing to.
