I just tried it out on a test raq and it seems by default AllowOverride is set to None which means .htaccess files do not work. If you edit access.conf and change "AllowOverride Off" to "AllowOverride AuthConfig", then .htaccess files can be used. Is it > compatible across the board? RaQ 2 3 and 4? To be honest, I'm quite new to Raq's, and I only have access to a clients machine, and one kindly provided as a testing bed by cobaltworld.com. It's been tested on a RaQ 3 and 4, not sure about 2 though.
