Hi Toppi, Please locate your mysql installation directory. With the MySQL packages from PkgMaster.com this is /var/lib/mysql. For diskusage reasons we moved the directory to /home/mysql and created a symlink to it from /var/lib. The socket is created in /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock (so effectively in /home/mysql/mysql.sock). The PHP module is expecting to find it in this location ( /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock) . If you mysql.sock is not located in this directory, please create a symlink to the mysql.sock file from this directory. If the directory does not exist, first create the directory ofcourse.
