Holding down that button calls a script on the hard drive.
it's /etc/lcd.d/reset_password.sh (If I Recall Correctly). If you don't
want the button to work, change the script. Hey, write you're own. There's
a program called lcdwrite (again IIRC. "locate lcdwrite" will tell you)
that lets you print directly to the LCD panel. You could have it print
"Back off my box, bozo" when they tried :)

Subject: [cobalt-developers] Reset password button

Hello,

Is it possible to disable "Reset admin password" button by configuring
of the box? I use the server remotely and don't want to allow this
possibility to the data center stuff. Recently they reset my password
but just forget tell me about :-(
