All good advice, thanks. I like this IM product because it uses SSL, in 
medical we need encryption, so low end junk like AIM is out. We are looking 
at netlert.com  - we have the product running on a Windows 2000 Appl Server 
(quite well), but that box is so firewalled that the communications does 
not get through; so I can reconfig the firewall, or put the IM server on my 
RAQ. I use it for a lot of other stuff, I think I will keep in running and 
just keep this on my MS box for now :)
