"most" redhat rpms are not compatable at all... if it isn't one thing it's another! however, the majority of 6.2 srpms can be rebuilt on a raq with some adjustments and work just fine... I perfer to use the more current 7.2 or 7.2 updates, or devel dist's with some mod's.... However you should keep in mind that a cobalt raq is a highly developed redhat version and building without checking the operation of a previous package may result in an undesired reaction by your raq. ie: crash boom bang. never --force anything into it...
