I experienced this problem a lot until I got a new proxy server. Then the problem went away. I thought it was odd that I was the only one who noticed the problem. It always occurred when I was checking in files from Dreamweaver.
Matt I'm using a product called Net-it Central that on a regular basis transfers large numbers of small files in a single FTP session to my Cobalt server (say 1000 files of 1k). After a random number of files the transfer halts and times out on TimeoutIdle or Timeout TimeoutStalled. I'm not sure how to tell the difference. Anyone experience this before. Can you recommend any tools for tracking the transfers?
