If you need src rpms for some of the PHP dependencies, you should check here: http://rpms.arvin.dk/php/ and use the 6.x series. Just be careful not to hurt anything that the raq depends on.
FYI, you can rebuild the rpm files as root by doing rpm --rebuild rpmfile.src.rpm and you should end up with an rpm file in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/ Make sure to do an rpm -i rpmfile.rpm --test to avoid breaking anything. I've been down this route before. Satisfying the myriads of dependencies can be quit difficult. When you make an RPM file, you'll often get the filename.rpm and a filename-devel.rpm. You'll need the devel version to satisfy the PHP dependencies.
