Reginald,

Are you sure the modules you are trying to insert are ECC modules. If not,
it will not work.

Subject: [cobalt-developers] 512 MB RAM says 'no' to my RaQ 550...

> We tried to install 2 x 'Apacer' 512 MB UNB PC 133 CL3 RAM modules in a
brandnew RaQ 550 and apparently the machine didn't accept it. I mean: when
we arrived in the datacenter, the machine was mounted in the rack, we took
it out, opened it up, pulled out the 256 MB and inserted our 2 x 512 MB
modules. Mounted the machine again, tried to start it up and apparently it
was broken.

question simply is if anyone knows which brands are compatible or more
importantly, which aren't?
