[cobalt-developers] Have RAQ but want to use another server for email

I have a RAQ4i and when I setup a site I want the smtp to use a different server. I know the changes I need to make at the dns level but what changes do i need to make on the RAQ. Do i just keep the (Email Server Aliases) field blank in the site admin area?

Since my email resides on the same server will my mail go to the other email server or try to resolve on the RAQ?

Any help please.
