I found this user defang on my RaQ4 and don't have a single idea, from where it comes from... /etc/passwd reads:
defang:x:500:500::/home/defang:/bin/bash Although he has a shell (I didn't give a shell to any user), he never seemed to have logged in. (if he didn't change last)-: That home directory shows a Cobalt-similar structure with the standard default user/en_US/web/index.html welcome file for new users. It was created last summer as I (unsuccessfully) tried to install Spamassassin. Also, greping defang shows many occurrences in the Spamassassin directory. That's why I presume it must come from there, but I'm not sure. Anyone with an idea?
