I've had absolutely NOTHING but trouble with Tomcat/JDBC on XTR's - with the original boxes, it'd completely lock up the XTR after a few days, and I'd have to get the colo facility to reset the machines. Absolutely horrible experiences. I've setup/used Tomcat on a bunch of other boxes (Debian, FreeBSD too afaik) with no problems, and I never figured out why it was causing me so much grief on the XTR. I'm getting very close to a initial Qbalt release, basically my biggest hurdle right now is getting my hands on a XTR physically so I can get the install side of things happening. It seems the XTR is the most problematic Cobalt yet - and it certainly doesn't seem to be the hardware's fault, as they're very capable machines...
