        Question
What order do I install the updates on the Qube3?

Qube3-All-Security-4.0.1-15714 (CCE daemon security update)[NL][NL]* NOTE:
These updates found on the Cobalt download page at
sunsolve.sun.com[NL][NL]As long as the updates go on in that order there
should not be any installation problems.

Additionally, from my experience:

* My os restore disk took through #15 (had to deduce this fact).
* Do not install #19! It renders your admin web server useless (some kind of
php/cce related problem). There are several reports of this problem and no
solutions or responses from Sun tech support. The gurus probably have a way
to install this php update. I didn't look any further than the Sun site
since I don't really care about using the latest version of php.
* Note that #18 is not on the BlueLinq site. You have to download it from
sunsolve and install manually.

Happy hunting,

Rick

I installed the Squid patch yesterday.

I do have another problem with a patch.

For some reason patch "Qube3-All-Security-2.0.1-13453" never gets fully
installed because the Qube doesn't reboot at the end of the installation.
Manual installs don't seem to help. Manual Reboots don't help either. Any
advice there?

Thanks,

Paul

Paul,

Please check for new software in BlueLinq. A patch that solves that
problem has just been released.

Kind regards,,
