Thanks Jon. After an extensive search of providers of co-location services in Ontario, we found none that could offer adequate bandwith at a competitive price, let alone raq-specific service. We use only about 25 GB of transfers a month, but we need burstable bandwidth, which raqport offers. Also, we prefer to deal with a Cobalt specialist, and we need 24/7/365 reboots. Cobaltracks is very price competitive but offers no telephone service. They take several hours to respond to an on-line trouble ticket and that's when their ticket interface is actually working. There is no service at all on Sundays. The raqs themselves have never failed, but we have had repeated connectivity problems. We have been running a pair of mirrored Raq4s at cobaltracks, but have now come to the conclusion that preventing hacker attacks has displaced hardware failure as the principal threat to our business. Therefore, we want the raq550-specific security services that raqport offers. They have offered us a competivie package and our only concern is that we know nothing about the company, and they offer no details on their website. We're looking for a long-term relationship and we would prefer to know who we were dealing with. Ken

I am just wonder why you do not just upgrade your Raq you have now to a 550? There are also many good colocate facilities here right in Ontario. " Not trying to take away from Raqport " We have just opened a new data center with Digital Networks in Smithfalls that is working out really well.
