Thanks for the replys. What I was lookinng for is the possibility to boot the old kernel or another kernel, if we do a kernel upgrade (the one from the sun cobalt patches site), and get a problem after that. Didn't know about the rom based kenel.
Never had problems with the kernel patches ? Peter -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Mittwoch, 27. Good luck Peter -----Original Message----- Actually, may wish to avoid using those notes, as if you do, you will mess up the Cobalt! The Kernel is not compressed I believe, as those notes tell you to do ... Follow this link, it was published by Cobalt, and will do what you want! ftp://ftp.cobalt.sun.com/pub/developer/TechNotes/DTN21-0-0.pdf Thanks, Brian _______________________________________________ cobalt-developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-developers _______________________________________________ cobalt-developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-developers
