Well if I wanted to go that route I guess id need to get a RaQ4, and install RaQ550 OS? Still, I wouldnt feel that its a "test" server unless its 100% the same hardware..
Imagine if we didnt have to second guess SUN's patches, that might have made Cobalts worth the while :-) I remember when I first for my 550, i carelessly applied like 7 patches in one sitting, I wouldnt do that if I was paid to do so, from the horror stories I have heard. :-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Aronoff" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, September 30, 2003 12:20 PM Subject: RE: [cobalt-developers] PHP 4.3.3 with mysql support?? > Dave wrote: > >Unfortunatly, its not cheap to have a Live and a test RaQ, buggers cost > too > >much! :-) > > I got a Raq3, loaded it with the 4 software and I use it to test all > packages before they go on my production server.
