[cobalt-security] Root versus Admin

I just noticed that the root password for my RaQ4 is suddenly not the same
as that for admin--the normal Cobalt behavior.  I can no longer su to root.
I have reset the admin password several times using both the GUI and the
reset switch, but to no avail.  I cannot su to root as I was formerly able
to do.  Any suggestions?
