We made a bridge/firewall with OpenBSD and a small pc with 2 nics There are som good starter-HowTo's on www.openlysecure.org, but it seems to be down right now hmmmm :-) Because its a bridge it has no IP and is invisible to the outside. Once you get it up and running it is easy to configure which ports you want to open.
