These messages are from the results of the kernal trying to access the portmapper service which runs on port 111. This messages is from the portmapper itself, which tells me that it is running on your box. I don't usually play with RPC, so I'm unsure of the meaning of that specific message. Apparently something funky is going on with your kernal. Have you made any recent changes/updates to the server? Try to correlate any changes with when the messages first appeared.
