I have no idea how you can come to the conclusion that suggesting one 
research an area before making alterations is in any way to "assume and 
pontificate". If anything, that would fit your perspective in this 
discussion, since you are assuming I am leaving my server unprotected. I 
have found many posts on this list helpful, but take offense to being 
attacked for merely stating fact.

Again, I believe that would better describe taking the advice of someone I 
don't know and assume they didn't forget something important or that they 
even have a clue about what they are talking about. To run a business in 
such a way will have very predictable results. It will fail.
