/etc/hosts.deny is the best way to deal with this. It may not cover all services, but anything that is running through inetd or using libwrap will respect tcpwrappers. Setting up tcpwrappers is a must in my book. 'man -S 5 hosts_access' is a good place to start. -- Jeff Lovell Sun Microsystems Inc.
