OSUpdate 3.0. issued on June 15, 2000. If you don't have it installed, install it. According to the Sun Cobalt site (http://sunsolve.sun.com/patches/cobalt/raq3.eng.html) there aren't any prerequisites.
Then look to see if you've got OSUpdate 4.0 (January 16, 2001) installed. If not, see if you've got the prerequesites installed, and if not, install them, and then install OSUpdate 4.0. Then going up from the bottom (same page, http://sunsolve.sun.com/patches/cobalt/raq3.eng.html), install all the updates you don't already have installed. That's it.
