Declan, that's totally unrelated. Qpopper has next to nothing to do with POP-before-SMTP. It also does not affect the "Email Server" flag in the GUI, nor does it break or disable POP-before-SMTP. I'm not sure what kind of problems you are experiencing, but the Qpopper-4.0.4 package has been around since earlier this year. Since then it has been installed on hundrets of servers and the PKG hasn't been modified since then.
