I think development on ipchains pretty much stopped about two years ago, the functionality was replaced by iptables in the 2.4 kernel series. Not sure about Sun/Cobalt, but most of the rest of the Linux community has abandoned ipchains. That's why the documentation on the net is so old.

Hello all, I've been reading a fair bit of interesting discussions/pieces on deploying ipchains on Raq4s. However, given the age of the Raqs in general most of the resources seem fairly old. I'm wondering if anyone has some good links or recent references they can point me to that relate specifically to ipchains on cobalt.. thanks, Marc _______________________________________________ cobalt-security mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-security
