CMU creates files, but it doesn't transfer them.  Whether and how you
transfer them is up to you.  If you're not comfortable with FTP and you have
openSSH installed you can use sftp or scp to transfer files.  And/or you can
use gnupg to encrypt the CMU output files before transferring.
