Nathan, Have a look at: http://www.macromedia.com/support/coldfusion/ts/documents/tn18340.htm
You need to make sure that you are running the correct version of Apache. I would recommend subscribing to the CF Linux conference at http://www.houseoffusion.com and reading through the archives which deals with this topic in detail. (Must admit, I am amazed that you are running CFMX on a RaQ4! Is this just as a dev box or is this as a deployed server (and if so, what sort of load are you putting on it?) - I did try running the installer for CFMX on a RaQ3 and it produced all sorts of errors so never went any further with it. Did you do anything special to install it or did it just go straight onto a base RaQ4?) HTH Matt.
