Hey, Well... my hdd died i connected it to a pc and my pc didnt detect the hdd. i did put it as a Slave.

Also beware of those switches on the front panel circuit board underneath the button going bad. I have one server that this happened to. I had to jumper the switch at the back of the circuit board for a rebuild. Not advisable for someone who does not know how to confirm the defective switch with a multimeter!!!
