You are right, it does seem to be missing from the FTP site ?
(like a lot of other open source software that's on RaQ 550)

However, the new updated "raid issue" kernel is available from
ftp://ftp.cobalt.sun.com/pub/products/raq550/updates/SRPMS/
kernel-2.4.19C7_V-1.src.rpm
