Well.. i conside the raq2 and older mips boxes educational boxes now and shouldn't be on the net.... hec they are about the speed of an intell P133... and that is why I will be releasing some rpms... I think this is a perfect example of a first step to understand how things build...

It should be well documented in the archives. The SRPMS are the same thing as the source tarball except many people have looked at how to build the "software" and written down exactly how to make it ... we call it the spec file... so the only diffrence between a srpm and a tarball is the tarball has no plan for building on a given system (in most cases) ... However most of the time they have a basic INSTALL method which is where the ./configure make make test make install make mess comes from... the problem is that everybody reads the commands and not the rest of it... much less looking at the code... the source tarball used is found at ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/OpenSSH/portable/ SRPMS can be found at ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/OpenSSH/portable/rpm/SRPMS/ these SRPMS specs need to be downgraded to our version of rpm... Like everything we build for mips.... :( Zeffie 734-454-9117 http://www.zeffie.com/ Home of Worlds Largest collection of raq2 rpms _______________________________________________ cobalt-security mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-security
