Hmmmm, it is in /root.cpan how can I force it to end up in home? And, can I delete it in /root ?
I suppose you can symlink /root/.cpan/ to /home/.cpan/
or rm /root/.cpan -Rf
perl should aks on next run where to create it. (and redo the initial cpan config)
If you do a rebuild, just be sure that you choose "ask" for the question

Otherwise you can get a "runaway" Perl that upgrades itself and we all know what a mess that will make of a Cobalt server...
