Hi,

Cobbler 2.4.x (release24 branch) is the last series that will support
python 2.4 (eg. RHEL5)
As of Cobbler 2.6 ( master branch and to be released soon) python 2.6 (eg.
RHEL6) is required, the mentioned hacks have already been removed from the
master branch.
Koan is the exception as it would be nice to have that available on as much
platforms as possible (eg. RHEL4).
