I've had a request for x509 user auth in cobblerd. I'll admit I don't know a tremendous amount about this, would someone like to share thoughts on whether they see this as being useful and what they might want? What auth options are you using in Cobbler? I take it some folks are using the LDAP/Kerb options, but has anyone written their own custom options to cover organization-specific security requirements?
One thing that has come up is having extended logging options on who does what -- which we mostly do for the API now.
