Right,

We used to have a flag that did most of this, though it was specific to 
--replace-self and discovered the local settings as opposed to using 
what was in the
system record.  It would seem easier to just grab the info out of the 
interfaces.

If anyone wants to take a crack at this, let know -- if you don't mind, 
please file this as a RFE at http://fedorahosted.org/cobbler and we'll 
put it on the list.
