https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/wiki/UsingCobblerWithConfigManagementSystem Basically it allows assigning Puppet classes to any Cobbler distro/profile/system object, as well as parameters, and also supplies an external nodes script to use if your Puppet server is on the same box as your Cobbler box. If not, it's easily adaptable.
