I'm curious as to who is using the ownership module and whether they are
using it via the webapp or just as a security layer for XMLRPC.

Namely, I haven't heard any bugs about it or questions in a long time,
so the question comes up as to whether it's in use.

Anyway, if you are using it, feedback welcome.

We never finished the feature that would allow folks addressability to
only specific fields in the webapp, though we /did/ put the ACL system
in place /etc/cobbler/acls.conf -- I'm also interested if anyone is
using that API feature.

No plans in mind, though I am generally in favor of deprecating dark
corners of the app that are not used. I'm hoping this one /is/ used.

We've talked about OMAPI before too -- it's buggy when using the DHCP
management options. This is one I'm highly inclined to remove because
we know the leases expire and it doesn't clean up with them well. In
which case, a cobbler sync would be required after making edits in order
to apply DHCP changes when Cobbler's DHCP management feature was enabled.
