I've done a little looking around on this, but it's not clear what the status is of ris-linux integration into cobbler. Is anyone actively working on this? It would be good if there was a blurb about this on the wiki somewhere obvious. I was just talking with my VP recently about how he wants us to automate xp installs the way I've automated the linux installs with cobbler (or at least just serve them out over the network). Having cobbler serve as a one-stop-shop for automated OS installs (other than your M$ license vendor) would be very helpful to me and probably many others. Thanks.

FWIW, all the scary stuff I was talking about to the codebase in terms of SQL modifications and so forth isn't happening, so nothing is holding up further work on the linux-ris integration. Full steam ahead! --Michael _______________________________________________ cobbler mailing list [email protected] https://fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/cobbler _______________________________________________ cobbler mailing list [email protected] https://fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/cobbler
