I've switched cobbler over to using "shlex" for kernel option parsing, meaning the following now works perfectly.
cobbler distro edit --name=foo --kopts="a=b c='d e f' g h i='j k l'" In other words, kernel options with multiple values are now no problem. In addition, I've fixed the YAML parser to allow for kernel options to start with "-", which previously freaked things out.
