I still need to get 1.4.3 out (bugfix release, due in 1-2 weeks), though I'm thinking about putting less features in 1.5 as we were talking about shortening up the release cycle.
This doesn't really change any plans for the future, just trying to get feature releases moving more often. Main reason is I'd like to get the s390 support out there so mainframe folks can start playing with it. If anybody is working on any major features, some indication of status and what you are doing would be good -- so we can plan accordingly. For instance, is there any active work on the linux-ris support or anything new in terms of Debian? I believe someone was working on getting some Debian packaging together so you could do a checkout and make a .deb, for instance. I'd love to have that in this release as it could go very far towards inclusion in more distros -- make it easy, through a .deb up on the site, and call for testers/input, etc. In other news, for those working on OpenSuSE support, I'm /really/ expecting a patch to do "cobbler import" for it. Can't be /that/ hard, I'd imagine. Any other things that should be on my radar? --Michael _______________________________________________ cobbler mailing list [email protected] https://fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/cobbler
