We package a version because, for instance, you might install cobbler on 
a Itanium (unlikely, I know) where there is no syslinux package.

We also want to make sure we can provide (and this is more import) a 
newer syslinux to installing guests than what is in, say, EL4 stock.

That's just a quick explanation of why we do that at all, rather than 
relying on what's packaged... for EL4, what we have should already be 
newer. but including "more newer" sounds good.

I'd like to hold this for devel if possible, and if anyone else has 
problems they can update their copy manually.
