A poster asked how to customize a hundred nearly-identical systems; this is a lot like my environment.
We have a single kickstart template, and only the mountpoints differ on a per-system basis. The post section includes: SNIPPET::config_mounts Instead of a single snippets/config_mounts script, there is a directory at /var/lib/cobbler/snippets/per_system/config_mounts ; inside this directory is a script snippet for each system, with the same name.
