It fails as it can't find the file /dev/mapper/s4--xen-vg-robfrank--disk0
due to the extra "-" in it.  Apologies once more for no output, hellish VNC
cut'n'paste issues and too much of a hurry to get system up.

Maybe this is a feature request then.  In the past I have carved off chunks
of a volume group as logical volumes and used the entire logical disk (not a
partitioned)as the disk for my virtual machines.  Is this a bad idea?  Why
insist on a partition table?
