Hello everyone, I wanted to know if anyone here has some experiences they would like to share about importing DVD media into cobbler 1.6.5 / 1.6.6 or 1.6.x on Fedora Release 11.
So here is my situation: I have imported RHEL5.3 32bit DVD tree into cobbler (1.6.4, 1.6.5 and 1.6.6) and I get an anaconda error about the repodata directory either being invalid, missing repodata directory, or anaconda-base-200901061631.i386 being "corrupted". If it is worth mentioning here, this error can also be reproduced with CentOS 5.3 for those without redhat / rhn ISO access. This directory does exist though!: # ls /var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/RHEL5.3-32bit/Server/repodata/ comps-rhel5-server-core.xml filelists.xml.gz primary.xml.gz TRANS.TBL comps-rhel5-server-core.xml.gz other.xml.gz repomd.xml # ls /var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/RHEL5.3-32bit/VT/repodata/ comps-rhel5-vt.xml filelists.xml.gz primary.xml.gz TRANS.TBL comps-rhel5-vt.xml.gz other.xml.gz repomd.xml # ls /var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/RHEL5.3-32bit/Cluster/repodata/ comps-rhel5-cluster.xml filelists.xml.gz primary.xml.gz TRANS.TBL comps-rhel5-cluster.xml.gz other.xml.gz repomd.xml # ls /var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/RHEL5.3-32bit/ClusterStorage/repodata/ comps-rhel5-cluster-st.xml filelists.xml.gz primary.xml.gz TRANS.TBL comps-rhel5-cluster-st.xml.gz other.xml.gz repomd.xml if you would like some visual aids ;-) please view the following url: ---> https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/attachment/ticket/464/oops_actual_error_I_am_getting.png Also the ticket url I filed on cobbler trac: ---> https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/ticket/464 I have no idea where to go from here, so I thought I would see what you all think. I am open to any testing / ideas.
