I feel not so smart :P The issue was the version of koan I had used on the client servers. It was version .5, the latest is 1.6. Once I installed the correct version, the cobbler server responded correctly.

I can telnet to port 111 with no problem, but when I telnet to 25151 I get a connection refused. So the server is accepting the connection, but something in the python code (or maybe apache) is kicking it out. Seems like a simple configuration issue to me. Make sure cobblerd is running on the remote end and you have the right files in /etc/httpd/conf.d ... checking for any .rpmnews there (if this was an upgrade), and then restart httpd. --Michael _______________________________________________ cobbler mailing list [email protected] https://fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/cobbler
