If you've filed something in Trac and not gotten a reply/comment ... apparently I haven't been getting emails from Bugzilla /or/ Trac when items are opened -- -- though I am seeing them when I'm commenting on items now. I'm trying to figure out if it's a mail filtering problem or what.
Anyway, this just goes to reinforce things... If you have a question, ask the mailing list. If you have a patch or idea, post to [email protected]. Patches attached to Trac will not be acted on promptly, the mailing list definitely will. If a problem has not been posted to the mailing list, for all practical purposes doesn't exist. The reason for this is to include as many people as possible in the discussions and development of Cobbler -- Trac/Bugzilla are read by a few, but anyone can help troubleshoot or help review a patch, or may have better ideas about how to resolve a problem than just me.
