Try this repository instead. dehaan has stopped development on cobbler and his repo is likely to be out of date. http://git.fedoraproject.org/git/?p=cobbler;a=summary > pbuilder and pdebuild to create the .deb > > dpkg -i to install Looking at the debian directory, and from my hazy memory about building debian packages, it sounds like you built this on an older version of Debian/Ubuntu that uses python 2.4, but installed it on a newer version that uses python 2.6. The version of python is hard coded at build time. That is the first place I would look.
