Hello again: Maybe anyone out there on the list would be willing to assist me -- as *paid* install help for Cobbler (on a OpenVZ container)?
It is half-installed, so to say. All Kickstart Templates and Snippets are there, from an older install. However, I can't get dhcpd to run and do not know how to import a couple of OS (CentOS mostly) -- without a CD, from the net. After trying for over two days I am still lost. You can contact me directly: Frank at : [email protected] Best wishes, Frank >Dear All: > >An add-on question: >It seems to me that "iptables" might be the problem. >I issue the commands: > chkconfig iptables off > service iptables stop >But when checking with > service iptables status >I see that iptables are still active. > >Anyone has an idea what to do -- given this is a container/VPS on a >OpenVZ server running cobbler? > > >Best, >Frank > > >>Hello All: >> >>Does anyone have an explanation or experience setting up Cobbler on a >>OpenVZ container / VPS that runs Fedora 14? >>In 2009 someone on this list was so very kind to help me setting it >>up on a VPS with an older version of Fedora... now I had to move to >>new hardware, unfortunately, and the older install fails (all other >>VPS that were moved work).
